Cow Vertebra

These bones are from an animal that was butchered, presumably a cow. They are sections of a vertebra (part of the spine) and are believed to be from a juvenile as the underside (not visible) of the bones is quite porous.1 The clean cut through the disk is evidence of butchery, though it was likely done by a local butcher and not the women themselves.
